Four members of the Iota-Theta Chapter from Bentley University are headed to Las Vegas to compete in a contest looking for the best Band of Buds.
Band of Budsis a contest sponsored by Budweiser® to find the best crew in the country. A crew is described as your buddies, your bros, your ladies, whatever you call ’em. Four best friends with the confidence, charisma and camaraderie to turn ordinary days into legendary nights.
Brothers Paul Devlin, Mike Dolan, Kevin Merigan and Sean Pettengill make up the team of Bud Heavy Hitters. They recently entered the Boston regional part of the contest. With their comedic antics, brotherhood bond and strong audience support they were too much for the competition and won.
Now they are heading to Las Vegas, December 14-18, to compete in the finals. After a strong showing of brothers at the Boston event, they are expecting an equally if not more impressive showing of support at the finals in Las Vegas. The brothers from Iota-Theta want to show everyone that Sigma Pi has the best brotherhood in the country!
Please note this was not a drinking event but a best friends contest. The participants were not required to drink for any part of the competition. As always we recommend for everyone to drink responsibly.
